A Rather Unsettled Month

May 2015 has the potential to be one of the wettest and coldest in a long number of years for Ireland. Cheery eh? Well it wont be all bad but when the rains come they will be thundery outbursts and as the jet stream will be over or to the South of Ireland the temperatures will suffer. The temperature will not exceed 16c very often at all during May 2015.
Week 1 Sees mainly wet and unsettled spells and the temperature will be in the range 10 to 14c Rainfall over 200%
Week 2 Sees a continuation of this weather but with some more in the way of drier or sunny spells and temperatures that could reach 18c.
Week 3 and 4 Month warms up somewhat but the shower activity remains high and heavy. Temperatures could reach 19 or 20c.
